Experience the Essence of Sibuya
Sibuya is a magnificent, 4-star, malaria-free eco-reserve situated on the Eastern Cape’s ‘Sunshine Coast’, an area known for its pristine Blue Flag beaches and the iconic village of Kenton on Sea.
Accessed by boat, this family-owned private game reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife, including a kaleidoscope of birds, and the iconic ‘Big 5’.
You can choose to stay at Forest Camp, River Camp, or Bush Lodge. The two Camps are secluded, authentically rustic and solar powered tented Camps. Depending on your preference the Camps have king-sized or single beds, and all tents have bathrooms en-suite. Our thatched Bush Lodge with mains electricity, air conditioning, and private viewing decks, offers splendid views of lush, green surrounds as far as the eye can see.
Rhinos are one of Africa’s
most extraordinary creatures
Large but vulnerable, these endangered animals have been poached to the verge of extinction. Our determination to protect them and ensure that they continue to roam the bush in safety, led to the establishment of our Sibuya Rhino Foundation.
Driven by financial reward, and willing to go to extreme lengths, poachers pose a serious threat not only to rhinos, but also to those who defend them. Every day, members of our courageous Anti-Poaching Unit put their lives on the line. APU rely on the generosity of people making donations, who are as committed as we are to eliminating the massacre of rhinos.
