In memoriam to Nel, a founding family member of Sibuya, who passed on recently, it was decided to convert her original home into a 4-Star Lodge.
There’s great excitement and anticipation afoot as we announce that work is steadily in progress on the conversion of the house to become Sibuya’s 4th Lodge offering. To compliment the Camps and Bush Lodge, this will be a sole-use gem perched strategically on a plateau, surrounded by dense indigenous forest and having magnificent views of the riverine plains with the Kariega Estuary in the valley below, as it meanders through the Reserve to the distant Ocean. A secluded and truly magic spot!

Work in progress:
This private Lodge nestling in expansive indigenously wooded grounds and built out of pebbles harvested on the Reserve, with its generous decks & swimming pool, is truly unique. Ensuring every comfort, the Lodge consists of a spacious open plan living area, two bedrooms downstairs – one en-suite and one with a sole-use bathroom. Upstairs is the en-suite master bedroom – large enough to comfortably accommodate two children sharing with parents if desired.
Suitable for a family or small group, the Lodge can easily accommodate six, or eight people – with children sharing.
A spacious comfortable living area, with a generous fireplace for a cosy atmosphere on those chillier evenings, Nel’s Lodge is the ideal space to relax and relive lasting memories made after an exhilarating day exploring the Estuary or Reserve.
